Sty - What is it?

An infection caused in the eyelid which looks like a red pimple is a sty.
Sty is an inflammation that is due to some infection, causing redness of the eye and irritation around the area. The person might have difficulty in seeing clearly and will be under a lot of discomfort.

Home Remedies For Sty

Sty Home Remedies with Garlic:

The herb that can be used for our daily cooking is very good for our health, especially blood purification. It is amazing when made in bread and had with a bowl of hot soup.
  • To treat the sty break a clove of garlic and rub the cut side on the eyelid. Be careful not to touch the inside of the eyes.
  • An alternative is to make paste of garlic, take some of the pulp on a Q-tip and rub the same on the affected sty area.

Natural Treatments for Sty with Heat:

Fireplace and kitchen are the perfect places to be in during winter seasons.
It is also essential for daily activities such as cooking and for other purposes. Heat is also used to tone down swelling and inflammation on skin.
  • Rub your thumb hard against the other hand's palm till you feel it getting hot and then place the thumb directly on the sty.
  • Take your gold ring and rub it against any rough surface to generate heat and then run it over your eyelid for relief from pain.

Sty Remedies with Water:

The one liquid that we cannot live without is required for our mere existence. Everything from washing our face to cooking, cleaning requires water. It is also used to detox the body and rid it of any chemicals and bacteria.
  • To some warm water, add a few drops of salt and drop this on the eyes every 20-30 minutes. This will make the sty go away in 2- 4 days.
