Home Remedies for Stretch Marks

Stretch Marks - What is it?

Stretch marks occur when there is sudden increase in weight or during pregnancy.
The skin around the area, arms, stomach, thighs, and hips gets stretched leaving those marks.

Home Remedies For Stretch Marks

Stretch Marks Home Remedies with Cocoa Butter:

The butter made from cocoa beans is yellow and used in skin care products. It leaves the skin fresh and blemish free.
  • While pregnant, make it a habit to apply cocoa butter liberally around the abdomen region. This will make sure there are no stretch marks.
  • After the shower, take some cocoa butter and apply this on all the affected areas, leave it on and follow this every time you take a shower.

Natural Treatments for Stretch Marks with Vitamin E:

There are certain food items that are rich in Vitamin E which must be made part of our daily cooking. Vitamin E capsules are also available to help heal wounds and skin problems.
  • Take a few drops of Vitamin E and olive oil; rub this on the areas where you see stretch marks. Repeated use will fade the marks away.
  • You can also apply Aloe vera gel or Vitamin E gel on the area to remove these stretch marks.

Stretch Marks Remedies with Coffee:

Coffee is good to keep us awake and keep our system alive through the day. It helps us get through long meetings and enjoy ice cream. Coffee is also good for the skin, and used in skin care products.
  • With any hand lotion, mix in some ground coffee powder, and rub this onto the affected area for about 2 minutes. Wipe it off with a moist warm towel and repeat this two times during the day to treat stretch marks.

Stretch Marks Remedies with Cabbage and More:

Cabbage, greens and other leafy vegetables give us strength and build our immunity systems.
  • Apply Vitamin K cream on the marks or eat food rich in this vitamin.
