Home Remedies for Rash

Rash - What is it?

A rash is a form of skin inflammation.
It is an eruption on the skin and it can vary in texture and color, depending upon what part of the body the rash has developed.
Irritation, allergic reactions, or a disease can possibly cause them.
Rashes are usually not contagious but in some cases, they could be.

Treat rashes right from your own homes. There are home remedies for rash that should help you out.

Home Remedies For Rash

Home Remedies for Rash with Oatmeal:

Oatmeal is good for breakfast. But if you have rashes, it is good in your bath as well.
Oatmeal has natural properties that could relieve the inflammation associated to skin rashes.
To make an oatmeal bath, just pour one cup of raw oatmeal into the bathtub.
Soak in it for an hour or so for maximum effects.

Treat Rash with Baking powder:

Baking powder can dry your skin rashes in no time. Just dust the baking powder over the affected areas using a cotton ball.
You can use baking power instead of talc for as long as you have rash. Doing so should speed up the healing process.

Natural Treatments for Rash with Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera can help soothe your skin. It also contains Vitamin E that could be a good anti-oxidant for the skin.
You can use natural Aloe Vera and apply it on the rash. Just pluck an Aloe Vera leaf and extract its juice.
Else, you can just use the Aloe Vera gel available over-the-counter. That should produce the same effects.

Natural Remedies for Rash with Olive oil:

Olive oil can also provide an almost instant relief to skin rashes.
Just apply liberal amounts of olive oil on the affected area. Its natural moisturizing properties would penetrate the skin and induce skin renewal.

Remedies for Rash with Potato flour:

You can use potato flour on skin rashes to get rid of the itch.
Just add potato flour to your bath. Dissolve three tablespoonful of flour in a glass of water. Then pour it over your bath water. A warm bath is most advisable.
