Home Remedies for Low Blood Pressure

Low Blood Pressure - What is it?

Low blood pressure or hypotension is a condition where the flow of blood in the arteries and veins is below normal parameters.
The condition may have resulted from some vital organs not functioning as expected or worse, damaged permanently.
The symptoms of low blood pressure are dizziness and lightheadedness. Fainting or seizures may also occur. Hypotension is usually associated with chest pain, shortness of breath, headache, and fever.
There are some home remedies that could help treat low blood pressure.

Home Remedies For Low Blood Pressure

Low Blood Pressure Home Remedies with Raisins:

Soak at least 32 pieces of small raisins in a bowl of water overnight. When you wake up in the morning, chew the raisins one at a time until you finish everything. Drink water right after.
Do this everyday until you have reached your normal blood pressure. Raisins contain potent antioxidants and are composed of 60% sugar called fructose. Fructose can help address low blood pressure. Raisins are also best for snacks as they are cholesterol-free, fat-free, and low in sodium content.

Natural Treatments for Low Blood Pressure with Almond Nuts:

Make a smooth paste out of almond nuts by soaking about seven pieces of it in water overnight. Peel and grind them in the morning. Add the paste to a tall glass of milk and bring them to a boil. Drink the solution while it is still warm. Prepare this everyday so you will get normal blood pressure reading after just a short period of time.
Almond nuts contain nutrients that could keep your blood flowing properly.

Low Blood Pressure Remedies with Basil Leaves:

Drink basil leaves juice first thing in the morning. Doing so will help you increase your blood pressure.
To make basil juice, crush 10-15 pieces of basil leaves, add it to water, and then boil it. Strain the resulting solution. Mix one teaspoon of honey to taste.

Low Blood Pressure Home Remedies with Licorice:

A licorice bath would help you bring back your normal blood pressure in no time.
To prepare the bath, crush 3/4 cups of licorice root and add it to 4 cups of cold water. Let it stand for 2 hours. Bring it to boil and steep for 5 minutes. Just add the mixture to your warm water bath. Soak for at least half an hour everyday for best results.
