Home Remedies for Joint Pain

Joint Pain - What is it?

A joint is the connection of two bones. Joints are classified by the amount of motion they allow.
Joint pain can be described anywhere from mild pain to unceasing arthritis. A person commonly experiences joint pain as he or she reaches 40 years old.
Since joint pain is common to adults, self-created home remedies that can be find inside the kitchen area are most recommended. These remedies are especially helpful in situations when it is technically impossible to go to the doctor right away.

Home Remedies For Joint Pain

Joint Pain Home Remedies with Cabbage:

Cabbage leaves probably are the best treatment for joint pains.
Cabbage leaves could address the pain and the swelling of the joints.
  • First, rub honey on the joints for about 10 minutes. Then put cabbage leaf over the painful area and wrap it with a warmed bandage or a clean cloth. Leave it overnight.

Natural Treatments for Joint Pain with Carrot:

The juice of a carrot has long been proven by medical doctors to reduce the pain caused by arthritis or joint pains.
For best results, you can fast for one day taking only carrot juice. The following week, adjust your fasting to two days. Then make it three days for the third week. This is the best home remedy for joint pains. However, it is very important that your doctor monitors your condition as you fast.

Joint Pain Remedies with Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar:

The combination of these two food items can ease joint pains fast and easy. Although the smell of apple cider vinegar is not really good, the result it produces in relieving joint pain is really awesome.
All you have to do is mix 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water. Drink two glasses daily if you're experiencing pain and one glass everyday as maintenance.

Joint Pain Home Remedies with Epsom Salt:

Epsom salt is very high in magnesium, which is important for bone growth. Use Epsom salt for joint pains by mixing 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of salt in one pint of warm water. Take one teaspoon twice a day. However, you have to seek advice from your doctor before you take this solution, as you might have other health concerns to consider. You can also put three cups of Epsom salt in a hot bath water and soak in it. The bath will soothe and relax your stiff joints and muscles.
